At Wales Somaliland Link, we believe that progress begins with partnership. Our collaboration with Cardiff University is a shining example of what’s possible when academic institutions and community organizations work together for a greater cause.
Through this partnership, we’re launching research collaborations, student exchange programs, and joint initiatives that span health, education, governance, and environmental sustainability. Welsh students gain a deeper understanding of Somaliland’s unique context, while Somaliland’s aspiring scholars and community leaders benefit from shared expertise and support.
Most recently, our joint workshop on community health resilience brought together students and practitioners from both nations to explore innovative, grassroots solutions to healthcare challenges. This is just the beginning — as we expand our efforts, we’re building a foundation for long-term, real-world impact.
